Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a freezone and mainland company?
The main practical difference is market access. A mainland company can trade directly with anyone in the UAE – individuals, businesses, and government. A freezone company primarily serves international clients and cannot sell directly to the UAE market without a local distributor.

Yes, both freezone and mainland structures now allow 100% foreign ownership across most activities. Certain regulated or strategic sectors may still require a local partner; we confirm this during the consultation.

It depends on your clients, activity, and budget. Dubai is the most commercially active. Abu Dhabi is strong for government-linked sectors. Sharjah and Ajman offer lower costs for industrial and trading businesses. We advise on this during the initial consultation.
Freezone setups: 3 to 7 working days. Mainland setups: 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the emirate and any additional approvals required.
Not necessarily. Most freezones offer flexi-desk and virtual office arrangements. A physical office is required if your activity or visa quota demands it.
Yes. Many businesses start in a freezone and later add a mainland branch or form a new mainland entity as they grow. We help plan and execute this transition.

Yes. Our packages include government fees, authority charges, and our service fee. The final quote we give you is the complete amount, nothing added later.

We help with residence visas, Emirates ID, corporate bank account opening, and initial compliance setup – so your business is fully operational, not just officially registered.

The cost of company formation varies by jurisdiction, visa count, and activity. Free zone packages start lowest for single-visa setups, mainland costs more due to office and licence requirements, and offshore is the most economical where no visa is required. We provide a single all-inclusive figure covering government and service fees.

An offshore company is a UAE-registered entity used for holding assets, international trade, or property ownership. It does not permit trading within the UAE market and does not carry visa eligibility. RAK ICC, JAFZA Offshore, and Ajman Offshore are the common jurisdictions.

A free zone company can hold a physical or flexi office, sponsor residency visas, and operate commercially. An offshore company cannot do any of these – it exists purely as a holding or international trading vehicle.
