What we handle?

Under Federal Decree Law No. 20 of 2018, businesses classified as Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs) are required to register on the goAML platform, maintain AML policies, and report suspicious activity to the UAE’s Financial Intelligence Unit. Many businesses fall into this category without realising it and penalties for non-compliance range from AED 50,000 to AED 5 million. At nAlyze, we assess whether your business is a DNFBP, register you on goAML, and put the right policies and reporting framework in place.

Corporate service providers
Company formation and management services
Dealers in precious metals & stones
Gold, diamonds, jewellery
Virtual asset service providers

Where involved in financial or trust transactions

If your business falls into any of these categories, registration and ongoing AML compliance are mandatory – not optional.

Why businesses work with nAlyze on AML?

Most DNFBPs discover their AML obligations after a licence renewal query or an inspection notice. By then the framework has to be built retrospectively, which is both harder and more visible.

Avoid Penalties

Fines for non-compliance range from AED 50,000 to AED 5 million, with possible licence suspension. We make sure your registration and reporting are in place before that becomes a risk.

Built for Your Business

Generic policies don’t hold up under review. We build your AML framework around your actual clients, transactions, and risk exposure.

Audit-Ready

Your policies, screening records, and reports are maintained in a way that’s ready for inspection at any time.

Ongoing, Not One-Time

AML compliance requires periodic reporting and reviews – we manage this on an ongoing basis, not just at registration.

Who this is for?

Real estate brokers, agents, and developers

Accounting, audit, and corporate service firms

Dealers in precious metals, stones, or luxury goods

Virtual asset service providers

Any DNFBP needing goAML registration

Don't wait for an inspection to find out you're non-compliant.

If your business is a DNFBP, AML compliance is a legal requirement with real penalties for getting it wrong. Let nAlyze assess your status and put the right framework in place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is goAML?

goAML is the online platform operated by the UAE’s Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) for registering DNFBPs and filing suspicious transaction reports.

DNFBPs include real estate brokers, accountants and auditors, corporate service providers, precious metals dealers, virtual asset service providers, and certain law firms, as defined under Cabinet Decision No. 10 of 2019. We assess this as part of our review.

Non-compliant businesses face fines ranging from AED 50,000 to AED 5 million, regulatory audits, and potential licence suspension.

Yes, periodic compliance reporting is required regardless, alongside reporting any suspicious activity as and when it occurs.

Records must be maintained for a minimum of five years.

Registration runs through the FIU’s goAML platform and requires a nominated Compliance Officer, your trade licence and ownership documentation, and details of your business activity. Some supervisory authorities require an additional registration alongside it.

Registration creates your account on the reporting platform. AML compliance is the framework behind it – risk assessment, policies, due diligence, screening, monitoring, training, and record-keeping. Registration without the framework fails inspection.

The Compliance Officer must be an appropriately positioned individual with the authority and knowledge to carry out the role. For smaller DNFBPs this is often an owner or senior manager, supported externally where in-house expertise is limited.

Probably not. Certain reporting obligations fall due regardless of whether suspicious activity has occurred, and a dormant account with no supporting framework is a common finding in inspections. A review will establish your actual position.
